Our commitment to you extends beyond providing a rental car, we offer peace of mind through our all-inclusive coverage package as long as you comply with the rental terms. Below, you’ll find essential information to ensure your rental experience is seamless and fully informed.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Accidents happen, but with our CDW, you’re fully insured against your rental vehicle damage, with ZERO EXCESS FEES. (i.e. scratches, dents)

Third Party Insurance(TPI):

This policy provides coverage for both material damages and bodily injuries resulting from accidents caused by the renter. It safeguards against damage to third-party vehicles and property, offering protection up to €1,300,000 for property damages and €1,300,000 for bodily injuries, in accordance with Greek regulations.

Theft Protection (TP)

Your rental includes theft insurance, safeguarding you in the unfortunate event of vehicle theft. Note: This does not cover personal belongings left in the car.

Fire Protection (FP):

The renter will incur no charges in the event of any fire-related damages.
FP coverage is not applicable if the renter breaches the terms and conditions in the rental agreement.

Exceptions

The renter is not covered:

• When driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other illegal substances
• For damages incurred while driving on gravel or unpaved roads.
• For damages to the underbody of the car.
• For damages to mirrors, glass, and tires.
• While vehicle transportation by ferry.
• While carrying passengers or goods for hire.
• In the event of traffic law violations (e.g., speeding, running red lights, ignoring road signs).
• While towing other vehicles or trailers.
• During participation in races or contests.
• For the loss of personal belongings.
• For accidents or damages caused by an undeclared driver in the rental contract.
• For the loss or damage of the vehicle key.
• For the loss or damage of Navigation GPS devices or child seats.

Car pick-up:

Upon arrival, in accordance with our fraud prevention protocol, we will request that you provide a valid credit or debit card. Rest assured, NO CHARGES will be applied, nor will any funds be held. This is solely a security precaution.
If a valid credit/debit card is not provided, the rental car may be denied.
Please note that the credit/debit card details are solely necessary for security purposes and are not required for payment.

You can settle the payment using any accepted method (cash, debit card, credit card), but presenting a credit/debit card is still necessary for security purposes.
These details help confirm the identity of the renter and cardholder, and also assist in verifying payments if discrepancies arise. This extra precaution ensures a smooth, secure, and stress-free experience for both the rental company and the renter.

Use of Car:

The renter must comply to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. It is the renter’s responsibility to care for the rental car diligently, including regularly checking its mechanical condition, oil, water, and tires during the rental period. Should any issues with the operation of the rental vehicle arise, the renter is required to promptly notify our office. In case of an accident or breakdown, a replacement vehicle is provided within 24 hours

Age Requirements:

The renter and driver must be a minimum of 21 years old for all categories, and 23 years old for categories Sedan, Sedan Luxury, Crossover, SUV, Large, Medium, Van, Mini Van.
The maximum allowable age for the driver is 70 years old.

Note: Age verification occurs at the rental counter. Failure to meet the age requirements will result in the inability to rent the car and a charge of the full rental fee.

Driver’s License Requirement:

A valid driving license held for at least one year is required. Licenses from the EU, US, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Israel, Russia, and Ukraine are accepted.
An International Driving License is necessary for all other countries.

Extra documents:

For all renters, a valid ID card or passport is mandatory.

Mileage and Taxes

Enjoy unlimited mileage and the inclusion of a 24% V.A.T in all our rates.

Fuel Policy:

Option 1: Full to Empty. Upon pick-up, the renter pays in cash for a full tank of fuel, with the charge varying based on the car type. The car should be returned with the tank as empty as possible, as no refund is provided for unused fuel.
Option 2: Same as Pick up. The renter is required to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as received. For vehicles delivered during nighttime ( 21:00 – 09:00), at least ¼ tank of petrol is provided, sufficient to reach the nearest fuel station.
We deliver the car with at least ¼ fuel in the tank, and the renter must return it at the same level. Note: no refund is issued for any extra fuel remaining in the tank.

Payment Options:

No credit card is necessary to rent a car from us, and no deposit will be held on your debit/credit card. Payments are made upon arrival. If you prefer to pay by credit card, we accept all major credit card types except for American Express.

Damage or Loss of Key:

In the event of losing the car key or remote control, the renter will be responsible for covering the cost of a replacement. The cost of the replacement varies based on the dealer and the specific make of the car.

Flat Tire Incident:

If a flat tire occurs and it is repairable, the renter should have it repaired at the nearest garage and we will refund the full cost of the repair. Our representative will require the payment receipt to refund the full cost of the repair.

Additional Driver Option:

Our representative must be informed on arrival or during online booking. The additional driver must also possess a valid identification document, passport or ID card and a valid driving license held at least for 1 year, as it is necessary to include their information in the car rental agreement. There is no charge for the 1st additional driver, for the second additional driver and extra charge of 3€ will apply for each day of the rental. Maximum number of drivers is three including the main driver.

Car Distribution:

We ensure vehicle availability based on categories rather than specific models allowing requests for specific models subject to availability. Should the chosen model be unavailable, we pledge to offer an alternative model within the same category, featuring equivalent or superior specifications.

Rental Length – Last Minute Rentals:

Rentals for the same day are not permitted, the minimum rental duration is 1 day (24 hours). If you need a rental period shorter than this, please reach out to us for further assistance.

Pick-up and Drop-off:

For any location not listed on our website, there may be an additional charge. Kindly reach out to us for further details. For drop-off locations different from the pick-up location, an additional charge will be applied. The charges vary depending on the distance between the two locations.(e.g pick up from Chania Station and drop off to Heraklion Station, there will be a charge of 100€). The pickup procedure will be detailed in the confirmation email you receive after booking the car. Pick-up and Drop-off Hours:

If you require car Pick-up or Drop-off during our out-of-office hours:

> (21:00 – 00:00) An additional fee of 25€ will apply.
> (00:00 – 07:00) An additional fee of 40€ will apply.
> (07:00 – 09:00) An additional fee of 25€ will apply.

Delayed Return:

You are required to return the rented car at the specified location and on the date and time indicated on the rental contract, If you wish to extend the rental period, please notify our company at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to provide 48 hours notice may result in denial.

Child Safety Seats:

Choose from infant, baby, or booster seats. The first seat is for free, with additional seats available at 2 €/day.

Traffic Violations and Fines:

The renter assumes full responsibility for any tickets and fines resulting from violations of Greek traffic regulations during the rental period.

Accidents:

In the event of an accident, it is imperative to inform the authorities and file a Police Report. Additionally, you must promptly notify the rental company.
Please note that in the event of damage to the car occurred by negligence, negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, other illegal substances, driving in prohibited countries/areas, or any other exception outlined in the rental terms, the renter will be held entirely accountable for all related charges.

Rental Outside the Border and Ferries:

Driving the rental car outside the Greek borders and transporting it via ferries is prohibited. In any instance, the renter bears full responsibility for all charges and damages incurred.

Cancellation of Booking:

For reservations canceled at least 48 hours before the rental period, no fees will be charged. However, for non-show reservations, no refunds will be issued.
